Twin Sisters

Yesterday I ran into a twin sister who had just celebrated their 86 birthday. They were dressed alike. Both were wearing navy blue pants, white shirt and red scarves. Their blond hair were meticulously styled. One of the sister appeared to have more disappointment in her life as she had more wrinkles around her mouth and the sides of her lips were shaped downwards.

They reminded me of my sister and I. One day if we are lucky enough to live that long, we also will loss all of our youth and beauty and will have wrinkles all over our face.

I probably will be the one with more wrinkles because I have had many heartbreaks in my life. But despite that I take it easy and I have been desensitized to disappointments now. I believe that anything is possible and nothing, absolutely nothing, surprises me any more. So maybe my sister would have more wrinkles as she stress about every little thing in life.

What would be one advise that you guys can give me? I asked the twins.

The one who seemed more disappointed in life said, “ Don’t take life so seriously.”
Enjoy. It is over before you know it. Said the other twin.

Right advice she gave u. Enjoy life. Why worry? It was Omar khayyam who wrote " Unborn tomorrow and dead yesterday, why worry about them if today be yours?" (John FitzGerald's translation of the Rubaiyat)

Of Cleopatra the beautiful Egyptian queen Shakespeare wrote " Age cannot wither her beauty nor custom stale her infinite variety"

It is not only the beauty of a woman that attracts men it is also their infinite variety.

By the time u grow old, age would have been conquered. As it is, with Botox and other hormones and chemicals wrinkles can be removed/prevented and facelift has already been there for over 50 years. Newer techniques are being discovered. So dont worry, be happy.

C’est la vie! I feel you! My mom and dad are still doing okay, considering! Dad is 92 and both her mother and grandmother lived a very long life! I’m making a lot of changes in my life & I’m glad I can now cause I too have had many ups and downs in my (short, considering) life as well. As far as advice, I’m not sure there is a standard formula for all. I guess to each to his own (I’m a little rusty and tongue tight this minute, as I can’t remember the correct saying…)

I have known a friend since last year. He’s an engineer and used to live around the bay area and his name is Majid Mehrabanian! Any relationship there?
