Soul

Everytime you break up with someone and end a relationship, part of your soul is gone.
Uhh. How accurate is this statement?

Depends...
If you have a good impression from this friendship, then it is painful to break up.
The point, however, is that such kinds of friendships never come to an end, you know.

I don't think part of your soul is gone... The part that person had in your life & heart is gone... but not your soul. SBN

Absolutely, but I rather use a different euphemism. I think we are always on the lookout for our sole mate. To me, any time you end a (serious) relationship, a piece of your heart is also chipped away. At the end, you just hope there is enough (of you) left to share (negotiate) with a new person (relationship) in your life. You can only hope you’ve become less vulnerable and more guarded, but not a heartless soul. Hopefully, you haven’t become a damaged good by the time you find your sole mate.

Oh, how embarrassing again! I meant “soul mate” and obviously not someone on the bottom of your shoes! Then it reminds me of a friend who used to think he is above and beyond worldly needs and desires. He should pay for his immaturity and inexperience in his youth. He admittedly let his “soul mate” slip away from him. He feels beyond redemption now! Now, he thinks he should dedicate his life to cause or a movement to better humanity and mankind. He is damaged goods now and his heart will never mend. He’s just looking for someone to just satisfy his mortal sexual and other needs, with no complications! He isn’t asking for much, is he? Is think a, “sole mate”, would have been appropriate for him. Any how, I you read my blog under, “On Politics, Democracy and Religion”, posted on Oct. 26, 2006, you will see that I forewarn readers of my bad spelling, other faults, shortcomings, and misgivings. I hope it’s okay to rant and rave here!
