Life Purpose

I have not been here for a while. I have been writing, but not publishing it. I just saw my blogg with the new green color. I do not like it. When I changed it from black to green I liked it at the beginning, but now it looks a bit fake!!! Maybe I am bipolar. I am not happy at all today. I just have a hard time finding a purpose for my life. What's the point? What is the purpose of my life or your life? There is really no point to be alive. We are born at point A and inevitably we all going to die at Point B.
Assuming that an average person will live 70 years, I do not know how am I going to live another 40 years here.

Dear Mehraban we have all been to that point not just once but manytimes & it really doesn' help to think abt it much coz the more we think the more lost we are :-D let's just say instead of point A to B, we are going from point 1 to Point 2. Now there are uncountable numbers in between. Life is too short to think on why we are here. I have decided to do various activities to stop me from having the time to get depressed on the topic. Cheer up. These phases are transient.

u have to stick around because of us selfish people who want u around :-)

this too shall pass... acknowledge the pain and the emptiness, bow to it, talk to it, tell it that u recognize it and then let it pass... cause it will...

we all have our bipolar days...

You can always find a purpose in life. What is ur passion? Are u living life or just reading about it? What are u doing and why are u doing it? The two have to come from the same stem...once they are, u'll feel like u have a purpose in life. (SBN)

Yes. You are right. But the point is that these days, nothing is left for us if there is no money.
Anyway, I prefer a satisfactory life so that at the end, I feel happy about that.

maybe you should learn to appreaciate your life.

stop to smell the flowers. listen to the birds chirpping

if you find no purpose in life, maybe you should think again. there are so many unforunate people in this world, they fight to live on...

think the hungry children in africa. if you have no purpose in life, then what about them, and yet they are fighting each day to live just another day.

cheer up and be glad that you are alive today.

If life is a bowl of cherries, what am I doing in the pits? This is the title of a book; you can perhaps buy it on Amzon.com. I haven’t read it, but apparently there are cheerful quotes in it that would make the day go by easier. Next thing I recommend is go to either a U2 or Madonna’s concert. Madonna’s Confession concert is very good. You can both enjoy the show and get a different perspective on life too. I don’t think anyone has the answer and I can see some tried to make an attempt. I don’t either and instead I wish I had something funnier to say to cheer you up, but I’m all dry of idea’s and it’s getting lake and I’ve been reading all you old posts to get to 2006, where I’m at now. It’s really funny though as I have been reading most of your posts tonight and I can see the FULL circle your moods have gone, since the beginning of your blogs. Just a sweet observation.

I stumbled upon this post. The topic is something I had discussed a few days ago and couldn’t resist posting my comment here.

I don’t believe there has to be a purpose to life, we don't have think/try and figure out what it is, it is intrinsic. We cannot differentiate it from living the life we have. We just live our personalities with all the conviction, our beliefs, our choices, our passions, do whatever our personality allows us to do and that in itself is what people call “purpose” served.
